this Fowler traction engine had not been in steam for several years and required considerable restoration. It has been a pleasure to work with her owner and his family in getting the engine ‘up and running’, functioning as she should to enable them to finish the cosmetic work. Our best wishes and ‘team Goddard’ are looking forward to coming and driving her again when she is completed ! Please look at the extent of the work on the restoration pages. Work included significant boiler repairs, new tender, rubbered wheels, new smokebox, refurbished or new boiler fittings, refurbished pump, new safety valves, remanufactured motion, new chimney, new ashpan….it just continues !
